KLS Maintenance Technician II
About the PositionThe Maintenance Technician II is responsible for general facility and equipment repairs.
May be required to perform HVAC services or additionally skilled duties.
Functions Perform general facility maintenance to interior and exterior of building, fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
Schedule and oversee any third-party contractors visiting facility for repairs or maintenance Inspect ladders, dock doors, dock lights, dock plates, and personnel door access for safe operation.
Operate battery changing equipment/station for powered industrial equipment Operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
Identify and repair faulty equipment Schedule Preventative Maintenance and maintain Logs; for all buildings and equipment Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Additional duties as assigned by direct SupervisorQualifications Minimum two years maintenance and repair experience required.
Strong mechanical ability required.
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other mechanical certification High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Basic computer skills Attention to detail Pass Background and Drug ScreenSalary:
$15.
